About Your Clinician

Dr. Williams received her Bachelors degree from Florida State University in Family, Child, & Consumer Sciences in 2004. After graduating she entered the workforce as a Mental Health Targeted Case Manager, providing wrap-around services to children and families. She eventually decided to return back to Florida State University to obtain her Masters of Social Work degree. While in school she worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor in an all womens inpatient substance abuse facility. After graduating from Florida State University in 2008, she became a children's mental health therapist. Dr. Williams provides individual, family, and group therapeutic services to address depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, disruptive behaviors, anger, substance abuse, and developmental delays. She is a certified Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral therapist, a Certified Family Trauma Professional, and a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Clinical Social Worker Interns. She has experience in emergency services, providing rapid assessments, and recommending children and adult patients for inpatient crisis stabilization. Dr. Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida and has provided mental health services for over 9 years. She completed her educational journey at Nova Southeastern University and obtained her doctorate degree in Health Science in 2016.
